The vintage Concorde lounge chairs
Iconic and unique vintage piece created in 1966 by the famous French designer Pierre Paulin for the first class JFK Concorde lounge.
The story
Pierre Paulin is well known for having been the favorite designer of French presidents. Both Georges Pompidou in the 70ies and François Mitterrand in the 80ies asked him to decorate the Palais de l’Elysée. In 1966, Air France asks Pierre Paulin to design a seat for the Concorde first class lounge. The F780 chair was born. Our vintage edition is one of the very rare set (if not impossible to find) constituted by two seats and their original table.
